Like a Ninja
President Bush was attacked by an Iraqi journalist today during a press conference.  The man threw his shoes, one at a time, at Pres. Bush's head, an act that is considered a great insult in that area of the world.

I am of course angry about the attack and the insult intended.  It doesn't matter if you like or dislike him, you don't mess with my Prez!  That's an insult to ME as far as I'm concerned.

However, my first actual thought when I first saw the footage was, "DANG!  The man's FAST!"  A projectile comes from nowhere, in a supposedly safe area, and Prez Bush responds with cat-like reflexes.

Hail to the Ninja in Chief!

Mosty Toasty

It has finally gotten cold enough that I broke out the flannel sheets.  Mom and Randy gave them to us last Christmas, and it was one of my mostest favorite gifts EVER!
I had wanted a set for years, but my hubby is extremely hot-natured and neither of us thought it would work for him.  I would just put a lap afghan over my side of the bed.  A puppy in the bed doesn't hurt, either.

Time catches up with us all, however, and my hubby has started getting more and more sensitive to the cold.  He was still a little iffy with the flannel sheet idea, but once he tried the soft, warm toastiness, he was hooked just as much as I am.

So, they're on the bed.  It's now officially winter, folks.  Snuggle up!
