This weblog is my online journal. You'll find my opinions on a variety of topics as well as links to other
things on the web that I find interesting. When the spirit moves me, I may also include longer essays.

OK, so I just came in from walking and feeding the dogs. I come into the living room, glad to be
back inside the A/C, and glance at the TV.
My husband is watching Desperate Housewives. Oh, I know, it's
"just what was on after I was watching _____, and I just didn't change the channel cuz I was surfing."
Whatever. He laughed at a joke, which proves he was listening.
OK, so I've just recently discovered FaceBook. Don't blame me, now. I thought it was just some silly site
for tweens and pedophiles.
I got an invite from a few friends, so I thought I'd check it out. What a
great networking tool! I have found LOTS of people I went to school with, as well as family and online friends.
People I haven't communicated with for years.
Mostly its just little short messages about what you're
doing or what you think about something. Example: recently there have been LOTS of discussion on Michael Jackson -- mostly negative regarding the media hype.
Anyway, check it out. Goto FaceBook, then look for people you want to get in touch with. You'll be surprised at what you find.
If Bishop T.D. Jakes has not come up on your radar, you are missing a blessing. Powerful, articulate, humorous when appropriate, convicting
when necessary, he brings the Word straight to the heart.
